Read explainer →How we select and verify what we publish
Every article starts with a primary source and ends with an editorial check against that source.
Finportalq's editorial process is driven by data availability. We publish an explainer when a primary document — a government data release, an RBI bulletin, a parliamentary standing-committee report — provides enough structured information to support a factual analysis. We do not publish opinion disguised as analysis, we do not quote anonymous sources on economic data, and we do not extrapolate from a single quarter's reading to a multi-year trend without making those limitations explicit. Each article links to the source document. If a number is revised by the issuing body, we update the article and note the revision. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, and it's why researchers and policy professionals return here rather than to aggregator feeds.
